Brevet Cycling Club — a cycling club with a coach who knows you

Brevet

A cycling club with a coach who knows you.

One number. One word. One workout for today.

You ride 6 to 10 hours a week. A smartwatch on your wrist, a power meter under the saddle, a shelf of apps each showing you numbers. And still no idea what they're trying to tell you.

At Brevet, your Capitaine writes your plan — and shows you the math. One number. One word. One workout for today. The rest stays under a tap — the components, the math, the plan. Three seconds from open to "go ride"; the algorithm decides the rest.

Behind the score: a multi-signal readiness model, ACWR ramp-rate veto, W'-balance, recovery kinetics. Coggan, Seiler, Plews, Buchheit. All documented, all transparent. Want to know how that 86 is built? Scroll down. Free while in beta. Membership stays free — the dues carry the coach; the amount is announced before launch.

Brevet is a cycling club.

It keeps a register, not a feed — and it trains you the way no ordinary club can. Everything you’re about to see is the club’s training.

THE DAILY LOOP

Wake. Plan. Ride. Learn. Repeat.

Every screen below is one turn of the same loop — the one Brevet runs with you, every single day.

MORNING — Every morning, one honest number.

Your Capitaine reads your night — heart-rate variability, resting pulse, sleep, the load still in your legs — and turns it into one number and one word. Green means go. It’s the first thing you see, and the last word is always yours.

THE PLAN — The season your Capitaine writes four weeks ahead.

No twelve-week block that expires and leaves you guessing. Your Capitaine keeps building four weeks ahead and re-draws the whole season the moment life gets in the way — a missed week, a rough patch, a holiday. Miss a day and tomorrow already accounts for it.

It doesn’t just tell you what. It tells you why.

One Coach, one plan, one truth — explained in plain language, never a second model quietly disagreeing in the corner.

THE RIDE — Then you actually ride.

Sixty-three structured workouts, from a five-second sprint to a race-day warm-up — or just point at a road and go. Today’s session is already picked, each one a step toward the long ride at the end of the month; the whole library is one tap away.

THE LAB — See everything. Trust what survives.

Your whole history, floodlit: power curve, fitness and fatigue, every ride broken down to the watt. Put any two metrics against each other — and only the relationships that survive a statistical honesty check are ever shown.

A coloured chip means the relationship held after a false-discovery check — a pattern in your data, not a cause.

THE CLUB — We keep a register, not a feed.

No leagues. No confetti. No virtual races. Brevet is a club for riders who train seriously, without racing each other. We measure ourselves against yesterday.

Every month has a brevet — a long ride at your own pace, with contrôles to stamp along the way. Finish it and you get no badge. Your entry — your member number, or your name if you choose — is simply added to that month's register: alphabetical, without times, without ranks. Awarded stays awarded.

The club seals in silence, but you don't ride alone. Your Capitaine de Route computes your plan, writes your feuille de route with watt-precise pacing, and watches your fuelling. He brings the same training science a pro's staff would open — and he shows you the math. The club brings the tradition.

The Credo

We ride. We don't race.

We measure ourselves against yesterday.

We win nothing. We finish.

We train by the science and show the math.

We eat before we're hungry. We rest before we're tired.

We never pedal out of vanity.

Winter is our season.

Pause, and you're still a member. The entry stands.

Two of these lines are over a hundred years old — from Vélocio, the father of randonneuring. Good lines don't age.

Honesty is a feature, not a footnote.

Honest by default. When we can’t estimate something honestly, we say nothing — no fabricated precision, no ‘modeled’ dressed up as ‘measured’.

One voice. One Coach, one plan, one truth. Never a second model that quietly contradicts the first.

Your call, always. Every recommendation has a one-tap override. You tell it how you feel; it listens and adjusts.

Transparent math. Coggan, Seiler, Plews, Buchheit — every model and its limits are written up on the Science page. Read it before you trust it.

We show our work.

The models we ship, the papers we lean on, and — once — the fatigue model we built and refused to ship. Read how Brevet actually thinks. Read Field Notes

Under the hood.

Eight models, one athlete. Readiness, fatigue, durability, aerobic threshold, fueling, periodisation, athlete profiling and a safety veto — each models one slice of you, all feeding a single adaptation core. Hover any node to see what it does.

CLOSED BETA

A small club, opening slowly.

Brevet is in closed beta. We grow slowly — not because you're not good enough, but because the room is small. Membership is free. The dues carry the coach.
